Why Hand Me Down Artist?

Growing up the youngest of three brothers, I inherited many things. From toys to taste in music, my brothers and others shared much of their lives with me. As I grew older, the hand-me-downs took on a new form. My life is a collection of diverse influences, from my mother’s passion for creativity and art to a partner’s love for the life of a shutterbug or a mentor’s dedication to fostering community through documentary work.

From pet care to capturing portraits and managing professional brands, I have become a jack-of-all-trades and a master of some through the kindness and wisdom of others.

So, why Hand Me Down Artist? Because I am a testament to the hand-me-downs I’ve collected, an embodiment of the love, support, and wisdom passed down to me; an artist crafted of the friends, family, and communities I have thankfully been bestowed.
